| Details | NAME OF INJURED: NEWTON CHALWE OCCUPATION : BATCH HELPER PLACE OF ACCIDENT: BC 3-RAM MATERIAL HANDING SECTION NATURE AND EXTENT OF INJURY: SUFFERED DEEP LACERATION ON MIDDLE AND RING FINGER DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT: On the late of 16-06-2020 at around 23:30 hrs Mr chalwe newton from batching department (RMHS FEEDING)during the shift the conveyor motor jammed and it also caused the belt to stop running during the time in the attempt to jam start the motor he touched the rollers at the motor with his left hand so when unexpectedly the motor started running it crushed his three fingers upon his friends saw that one of their friend has been injured they immediately tripped the conveyor belt with the helper of the sling wire .He was then rushed to chitambo mission hospital to get medical treatment his three damaged fingers where later amputated because they were badly damaged.
